The ALLVET project and the Festival of ecological projects «Switch on the eco-logics» together towards the same goal

On the Day of Russian Science, February 8th, representatives of DSTU and Kragujevac University presented the Erasmus+ project “HE and VET alliance establishment according to Bologna Principles implementation via VET teachers’ capacity building” (ALLVET) at the VI Science Festival «Switch on the eco-logics».

Daniela Milosevic, Dean of Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Kragujevac, Serbia, coordinator of the ALLVET project, made a welcoming speech at the opening ceremony of the festival. Irina Maevskaya, Head of International Education Department DSTU, spoke about the project and its impact on the development of higher and vocational education.

The VI Science Festival «Switch on the eco-logics» was held within the framework of the all-Russian Festival ‘SCIENCE 0+’ organized by the Lomonosov Moscow State University, the chairman of the organizing committee – the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Valery Falkov.

The science festival «Switch on the eco-logics» is held annually and brings together schoolchildren, applicants and students, teachers of colleges and universities and school teachers. The event promotes the organization of network interaction between schools, secondary vocational and higher education institutions, the exchange of personnel, information, scientific, technical and educational resources, which meets the main goal of the ALLVET project.

During the festival day various master classes, popular science lectures, round tables, competitions and business games among schoolchildren were held on the online platform of the event. What is more, the virtual exhibition stands of DSTU faculties and laboratories were organized.

‘The future of the industry and society today is built on the knowledge that students receive, and on the ideas that will be the first step towards higher education and new scientific discoveries. For us, teachers, it is important to effectively develop your competencies for further training, building a successful career and personal growth. This task lies before the ALLVET project team, which studies and develops new educational technologies’, mentioned Daniela Milosevic.
