On April 23rd and 26th , Kragujevac University held the online training for Russian and Kazakhstan HE and VE teachers participating in ALLVET project, aimed at developing their competencies of teaching in a distance learning environment. This training, along with the European methodological trainings held in November 2020, is designed to prepare the project participants for delivering a series of ALLVET training seminars at their home institutions, during which they will share their knowledge and experience with colleagues.
The key topic in the Agenda of the digital competencies development training was studying the Moodle platform features. Experts from Kragujevac University Milisa Stojkovic, Marjan Milosevic, Velijko Aleksic conducted theoretical and practical sessions. Milisa Stojkovic dwelled on strengths and weaknesses of specific online teaching tools. She also talked about interaction between the educational process participants and possible channels of communication in online learning.
Marjan Milosevic presented the structure of the Moodle platform, its main functions and types of possible assignments, demonstrated the Moodle toolkit for assessing students.
Veliyko Aleksic examined the possibilities of using various content and methodological tools for developing courses on the Moodle platform, for example, presentations, videos, quizzes, tests, forums, etc.
The training was attended by representatives of all universities of the consortium from Russia and Kazakhstan. The trainees were given the opportunity to participate both synchronously and asynchronously.
