On November 11-14, the “International Science Communication and Interaction with External Scholars in the Framework of Science Diplomacy Projects” seminar was held at the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University with the participation of representatives of the Perm State University.
As a part of the workshop, representatives of IKBFU’s International Office and Research Management Service shared their experience in organization and conducting major academic and research events, as well as ensuring interaction with external academics as part of academic mobility projects.
One of the purposes of the visit of colleagues from PSU was to exchange experience in order to successfully cooperate in the implementation of the ARTEST project, designed to redefine humanities education in Russia and Mongolia in line with European standards, research and best practices and to improve humanities education by introducing digital research methods. A series of working meetings were held with the management of the International Office, the Institute of Humanities and the Centre for Social and Humanitarian Informatics at the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University on the further implementation of the ARTEST project. In addition, on November 12, a meeting of the ARTEST Project Technical Committee was held remotely, where this time representatives from IKBFU and PSU were able to be present “on the same side of the screen”.
